Banana Art Lab is a web app for creating and editing images with AI. Describe a picture in words, or upload your own photos and say what to change, and the model renders the result.

- Is Banana Art Lab free to use?
- Every new account gets 10 free credits, enough for five GPT Image 2 Saver images or one Z-Image Turbo image. The free credits never expire, and you do not need a credit card.
- How much does an image cost?
- Between 2 and 228 credits, depending on the model and resolution. Credit packs cost $9.99 for 4,000 credits or $29.99 for 12,000 credits, and purchased credits are valid for 30 days. There is no subscription. GPT Image 2 also lets you choose a quality level, and GPT Image 2 Saver costs 2 credits at any size.
- Can I edit my own photos?
- Yes. Upload up to 7 reference images and describe what to change. Every model except Z-Image Turbo can edit images.
- What is the difference between Nanobanana, Nanobanana 2 and Nanobanana Pro?
- Nanobanana is the fastest and cheapest, at 13 credits per 1K image. Nanobanana 2 adds 2K and 4K output with more detail. Nanobanana Pro is the strongest at text inside images and complex scenes. Nanobanana 2 and Nanobanana Pro cost 22 to 77 credits per image.
- Is Banana Art Lab made by Google?
- No. Banana Art Lab is an independent platform. It gives you access to Google's Nano Banana models alongside models from OpenAI, ByteDance and Alibaba, but it is not affiliated with any of them.
